Dutch Blade Works, a young Dutch company, introduces it’s first design, the Xerxes. This persian styled folding knife is a collaboration with two well known designers/makers, Tashi Bharucha and Gudy van Poppel. The Xerxes is manufactured by WE Knife Co. Key feature is the tapered backspacer. WE Knife was the only manufacturer who was willing to produce this design for Dutch Blade Works. The Xerxes is produced in only a limited number for the first batch and available on their website and a few retailer in the USA and Europe. A second batch can be expected when the first batch is sold out. Just watch the video below for the interview of KnivesfromEurope with Cees, one of the founders of DBW. The interview was recorded during a monthly meeting of the Bladestock Brothers where DBW showed the Xerxes.
